Observing the Trees
This year our primary scientists will be watching the trees. This week they picked a tree at the school and made observations about it. They drew pictures, noted the size, the color and shape of the leaves, branch structure, root system, and any other important characteristics.
Throughout the year they will revisit these trees, noting what has stayed the same and what has changed. At the end of the year, they will cull together all their data and create a comprehensive illustration of the yearly cycle of their tree.
